As a solo female traveler I carry a handful of products with my everywhere I go just to make me feel extra safe. I have compiled a list here and I will continue to add to it as I go.

Safety Products

I carry this everywhere with me when I am walking around Philadelphia, thankfully I have never needed it but it’s good to have just in case.

*Please note, pepper spray is not allow in carry on luggage and some countries prohibit carrying it. Check with local rules before traveling with pepper spray.

Cell phones are our number one safety tool, but they don’t do us any good if they are dead. After a long day of taking pictures and checking out google maps, the last thing I want is to be stressing about where to charge my phone, which is why I carry a power bank, that way I don’t have to worry, or rely on finding an outlet while out and about.
